October is one of the very best seasons for motorcycle touring in Japan. Temperatures and humidity drop, making it ideal for long rides.

A waterproof three-season jacket is the best choice for this month.
In mountain or highland areas, temperatures drop significantly, so make sure to bring warm and windproof inner layers.
Days become shorter quickly, so it’s wise to plan your riding schedule with extra time to spare.
